Capacity and Firing Range
Interior chamber: 28.13" round by 31.5" deep, yielding 11.57 cubic feet of firing space. A single load accommodates large quantities: about 60–100 mugs, 30–45 bowls, or 12–16 large platters, depending on ware and placement.
Construction and Efficiency
Three-inch brick walls provide excellent heat retention, supporting cone 10 firing up to 2350°F while helping to reduce energy costs. The heat-reflective stand further boosts efficiency and protects flooring.
Control and Workflow
The digital controller offers five preset firing programs, simplifying the process from bisque to glaze. The round interior eliminates corner dead space, maximizing every inch of firing space and delivering even heat distribution.
Design and Installation Options
Includes a heat-reflective stand and limit timer. The ET2831 is also available as a sectional kiln for easier installation in spaces with access constraints.
Performance and Use Cases
Built for heavy workloads, this kiln lets you replace multiple firings with one large session. For example, a 75-piece dinnerware commission can be completed in a single cycle rather than across several firings. Large garden sculptures that don’t fit in standard kilns also fire comfortably in the ET2831.
