Ceram-A-Glass versatility for ceramics and glass
Part of Jen-Ken's Ceram-A-Glass series, this kiln is crafted for artists who love the fired arts across materials. It supports both ceramic and glass firing modes, delivering flexibility in a single unit.
Two firing modes with targeted heating
In glass mode, the uniform top elements deliver a strong heat burst to evenly heat the glass on the shelf, while some side coils assist in bringing the kiln to temperature. In ceramic mode, the unit reaches 2150°F for ceramic firings.
Maximum temperatures and bypass option
Operating in ceramic mode yields up to 2150°F, while glass mode tops out at 1700°F. With a manual bypass (inquire prior to ordering for more information), this model can reach 2300°F.

- Solid State Relay
Solid State Relay: why it matters
A Solid State Relay provides precise power cycling with no moving parts, resulting in tighter temperature control for accurate firings, longer element life, and potential energy savings. Mechanical relays wear over time, whereas a solid state relay is likely to last the kiln's entire life, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
Controller options
Jen-Ken collaborates with controller manufacturers like SDS Industries and Orton, offering a selection of digital controllers to fit your firing needs.
TAP Touchscreen Smart Controller by SDS Industries
The TAP Smart Controller is a premium option designed to simplify firing and elevate results. It features expansive memory for storing firing programs, allowing numerous profiles and steps without limits. When paired with the optional Wi‑Fi Dongle, you can manage firings from a computer, tablet, or phone, and SDS Industries updates can automatically refresh the controller software to keep you current. You can adjust an in-progress firing, skip steps, and monitor every stage of your firing as it happens.
