Jen-Ken AF Ceram-a-Glass 2422
Designed for artists who love the fired arts, Jen-Ken’s Ceram-A-Glass line combines ceramic and glass firing capabilities in a single versatile kiln. This model supports both firing modes, allowing you to switch between ceramic and glass work without changing equipment.
In the glass mode, the uniform top elements deliver a blast of heat to evenly heat the glass on the shelf, while some of the side coils work to help bring the kiln to temperature for efficient starts.
In ceramic mode, this kiln reaches 2150 °F. In glass mode, it reaches 1700 °F. With a manual bypass (inquire prior to ordering for further information), it can reach up to 2300 °F.

Solid State Relay benefits
A Solid State Relay is a smart investment for your kiln. It controls power cycling of the elements with greater efficiency than standard relays, delivering tighter temperature control for accurate firings, longer element life, and savings on your electrical bill. Traditional mechanical relays have moving parts that wear over time; a solid-state relay is designed to last much longer, reducing maintenance and downtime.
